A garage door that won't budge is more than an inconvenience — it can leave your property exposed or your vehicle trapped inside. We treat every stuck-door call as time-sensitive.
Some garage door problems simply cannot sit on a waiting list. A door frozen wide open puts your home or business at risk, and one that refuses to lift can leave a car you need boxed in overnight. Our emergency service exists to reach you quickly and get the door working — and secure — without unnecessary delay.
Most emergency calls trace back to one of a few culprits: a spring that has let go, a cable that has slipped off its drum, or a door knocked off its track after an impact. Any of these can leave the door unsafe to touch, and trying to muscle it into place often turns a straightforward fix into a costly replacement — or worse, an injury.
When you reach out about an urgent issue, expect a short round of questions about what the door is actually doing. That information lets our technician load the truck with the right parts before ever leaving the shop, instead of making a first trip just to diagnose the problem. A cable failure that traps the door open, for instance, calls for different tools than an opener that has simply stopped responding.
Should the door need a part we don't have on hand, we won't leave you guessing. We'll secure it safely and walk you through exactly what to keep clear of until the follow-up repair.
A door frozen wide open, one that has jumped its track, a spring that has snapped, or a door that won't close and is leaving your home or business unsecured — all of these warrant an urgent call.
We'd advise against it. Forcing a stuck door can shred a cable, bend the track further out of shape, or trigger a partially-tensioned spring to release without warning. Clear the area and call for a proper inspection instead.
Usually, yes — our technicians carry a stocked supply of common springs, cables, and rollers. On the rare occasion a specialty part is needed, we'll leave the door secure and get the follow-up visit scheduled right away.
